Praise the Lord for providing a van for Comforting Hearts Ministries! With this van we will seek to do His will by serving the needs of parolees here in New Jersey. In attendance for the dedication was Dean Gavaris, Executive Director of Gateway Pregnancy Centers, Anne L. Lawther, Director of Our Father's Heart Ministries. Please pray with us that this van will have a long and fruitful life!
Bowl-A-Thon 2008Praise God for our 2008 Bowl-A-Thon we raised over $2,000.00! This money will be used for CHM projects this year. And We thank All who bowled. You guys are awesome! We'd also like to congratulate our two highest scorers Mike Amabile and Jim Fox! Come see how much fun everone had a great time!
One of Comforting Hearts Ministries dear friends, Mike, was recently released and we had the privilege to give him CHM's first Release Gift Basket. This basket was filled with all the things you need when first released including dishes, utensils, a prepaid cell phone and of course a Bible. There were other things in there as well. This new service is unfortunately only available to those released in New Jersey and only to those who write to us. After all we have to know you are being released! As Comforting Hearts grows, I pray that we can do more of this sort of thing. Many of the mundane activites that we take for granted, Mike hasn't been able to participate in for 9 years!
